Operation Holy Smoke Serves BBQ At Class Of 2019 Vashon High School Picnic

In addition to our High-Five Scholarship Fund, Custodian George Love is still very active with one of his earliest community programs: Operation Holy Smoke. In May 2019, Operation Holy Smoke fed the Vashon High graduating class of 2019 at their annual picnic in Forest Park, St. Louis. The event was a blast!

The BBQ feast included:

  • 30lb rib tips
  • 2 smoked turkies
  • 100+lb of chicken (wings, breasts, legs)
  • Hamburgers, hot dogs and bratwursts

Serving up BBQ for the graduating students of Vashon High was a lot of fun and a good change of pace. Check out some of the pictures below!
